IN THE ROOM premiered at the Edurne Gallery in Madrid (C/Justiniano), Spain, in 2003.

It was played for a month in this Gallery and was distributed as part of the CD of the same name wich also compiles the works: FIRST THING IN THE MORNIG, SUMMERNIGHT WALK, EXPANSION 5.22, and SPIRAL. This CD was part of the Violeta Andreu solo exhibition INHABITED SPACES.

IN THE ROOM is conceived from various sounds, some domestic, and Andreu's voice.
