No Milk

No milk/Sin leche is an intervention and performance in the bedroom of the house of the artist who lived in Rockeby Gardens, Leeds, United Kingdom, in 1993.

No milk claims the freedom of women to choose if they want to have children or not. Every day the milkman went home to bring a bottle of milk. She kept them and identified those empty bottles with the absence of breast milk that women develop when they give birth. She was placing empty milk bottles around the space of the bedroom, one for each day lived at home, underlining the decision not to have children.
